P3 and P5

Is this the way back for Ferrari? It could have been even better, if not the almost collision at the start. But the third place of Rubens is a very very good one! ... And... I could have never guessed I would say that here; but what a shame for Raikonnen. In the last lap his tyre exploded. Well... he did gave Rubens the podium, but is was a shame for him!

Come on....push! push! push!

Okay, the time that Rubens set wasn't that bad, considering he was only 0,2 seconds slower than Alonso. But still, a seventh time? That's not what we were hoping for. And Michael? Well, let's just hope he's on a total different strategy, because starting from 10th place... just doesn't look that good! But we have seen (I saw it life!!!) that even when he starts from position 13th he can still get on the podium (Imola!). Just go for it!

Will this be the turning point?

The Ferrari team is very positive about this weekend. And in the last race the speed was ok. In fact, Michael had the fastest lap of the race. But can they also win a race? What about the Bridgetones? This GP the new qualification (on saturday and sunday) has been changed back to only one qualification on the saturday. What will that do? And in the race? We all cross our fingers and hope for the very best. Forza Ferrari! Go! Go! Go!

First times from Monaco

First Training
In the first training, in Monaco always on the thursday, Michael Schumacher set the fourth time with 1.17.640. Montoya was the fastest in 1.17.152. Second was Alonso and third Klien in the Red Bull. Barrichello set the 10th time, and Raikonnen the 12th.

Second training
Alonso was the fastest of the second training with a 1.15.835. Second was Wurz in the McLaren with 1.15.912. Third time was set by Coulthard in 1.16.184.
Both Ferraris were driving the same times as in the morning. This time Michael came, with his time 1.17.170 not further than the 11th time, and Barrichello (1.17.663) took the 15th place.
Hope it will go better during qualification!

"Those who think we are out..."

"Those who think we are out, don't know us". These are the words of Michael Schumacher after the devestating race at Barcelona last weekend. The result could have resulted in a hangover for Michael and Rubens, but this is far from what they feel.
Instead both drivers went immediately back to Maranello and got behind the wheel of the F2005 at the Fiorano testtrack. "Of course this wasn't what we would like to happen when we race for the title. But we have proved just how much can change during a single weekend and how quickly they can change. So I'll say it again: the season is a long one and lots could still happen. We will go on working and battling. It's far from over."
Yesterday and today both drivers will test at the Fiorano track.
